ISEB stands for the Independent Schools Examination Board. Established in 1903 to administer Britain’s oldest exam, the Common Entrance (CE), ISEB has been at the core of the UK’s independent and international schools for 120 years.

ISEB has developed the ISEB Common Pre-Tests, a ‘shared assessment’ consisting of four online entrance assessments. These tests are widely accepted by a range of senior schools, allowing pupils to sit the tests once and share their results with all the senior schools they have applied to.
