ISEB stands for Independent Schools Examination Board.

Created in 1903 to run Britain’s oldest exam, the Common Entrance (CE). For 120 years, ISEB has been the examination board that has sat at the heart of the UK’s independent and international schools.

ISEB has created the ISEB Common Pre-Tests, a ‘shared assessment’ which provides a set of four online entrance assessments that a wide range of senior schools accept, allowing pupils to sit the tests once and have their results shared with all of the senior schools they have applied to.
